My favorite F word… Friday!
My other favorites include: food, french fries, free, but I just like Friday, Friday is my favorite. Anyway, I hope everyone has as much joy for the end of the week as I do! So let’s talk weekend plans what’s everyone got on the agenda? Let me just tell you, I am so psyched for Super Bowl Sunday because I absolutely love sports (hockey is my favorite). It’s like a second Thanksgiving, everyone gets together, eats, and just has a good time.
Currently, I am in a challenge group through my gym, Page Fitness here in Watertown so Super Bowl Sunday is going to be challenge in itself however, I’ve nailed down some compliant recipes that I can’t wait to try. I love to cook and have been known to deliver a killer Chicken Wing Dip, Pizza roll, and a few other not really so great for you recipes. Yesterday, I was exploring Pinterest for healthy but tasty dishes and through my search I found a pin for “75 Healthy Game Day Snacks” via Closet Cooking. The recipes on there are all absolutely mouth watering. I picked three for my Super Bowl contribution:
I cannot wait to try all of these. My review of the three recipes will go up on Monday. I linked all the recipes as well as the Cooking Closet. Check them out and let me know what you think or what you tried!
To be honest, my weekend wardrobe includes A LOT of leggings (anyone who says leggings aren’t pants can fight me because #sorrynotsorry but they are) and sweaters or sweatshirts. Something about the fact of the temperature being 20 degrees makes me just want to be warm above anything else. However, I don’t make that an excuse to sacrifice style and being put together.
I told you that my absolute favorite boutique is Dottie Couture. I am honestly obsessed and I love them because they always have exactly what I am looking for and I’ve never shopped at any other boutique that just nails my style right on the head. I had been eyeing this one sweater on there for a solid couple weeks, finally purchased it, and am convinced I’ll probably be living in it. My outfit yesterday included this beloved sweater, jeggings rolled at the ankle, and the cutest blush pink cut out booties from yet again-Dottie Couture. Buying the booties was a job in itself. I had seen them as a “sneak peak” on Dottie’s snapchat and knew I had to have them, so I stalked their site (they post new arrivals everyday at 10am EST) and at 9:50am I started refreshing the page so I could get them as soon as they popped up. Long story short I snagged them and the price was unbeatable.
I posted yesterdays outfit on my Instagram but here it is on here…
Sweater: Dottie Couture
Jeggings: TJ Maxx

I have another sweater in my round up for the weekend which along with my recipes, I’ll post on Monday. I hope everyone has a blessed weekend and please be safe. My weekend consists of planning a trip, wrapping some work, workouts, and Super Bowl.
